Shivkumar Krishnan

Shiv heads the global engineering team at Gap Inc for stores across all its family of brands (Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Athleta and Janie & Jack) across NA, EU and APAC, based out of San Francisco. Stores represents a majority of the revenue of Gap Inc and his team at GapTech led a large scale re-platforming effort of a high volume transaction processing system to a modern technology stack in the cloud.

His team’s charter includes all aspects of front-of-house and back-of-house stores apps such as Point-of-Sale, Loyalty, Order in Store, Stores Traffic, BOPIS, Ship from Store, Store Inventory Management, Workforce Management, Stores Signage and many more. He is also responsible for all aspects of TechOps for over 100K+ store edge devices.
