Prior to joining Lumiata, Dilawar was President at Freshworks. Dilawar founded the company’s North America business overseeing sales and marketing, customer success and partnerships, laying the foundations of this global SaaS powerhouse. Freshworks boasts 200K+ customers worldwide and has raised $400 million in funding.

Earlier in his career, Dilawar was a member of the founding team at Yahoo!’s Platform Division, and ran business operations investing in platform products and infrastructure.

Dilawar is a leader in civic advocacy. In 2010, President Obama appointed Dilawar to serve on his Advisory Commission on Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders. Dilawar drove White House’s engagement with entrepreneurs across the U.S. Dilawar mentors entrepreneurs across the globe and serves on various boards.
