Tim Wong

Marketing Committee Chair - AVCC

Tim Wong is the chair of the Marketing Committee for the AVCC (Autonomous Vehicle Computing Consortium).  He also leads the Autonomous Vehicle Technical Marketing team for NVIDIA. Tim works with automotive customers, partners and suppliers to enable self-driving technology using the NVIDIA DRIVE platform, along with AI and deep neural networks for high-quality, robust and flexible self-driving solutions. Before joining NVIDIA, Tim was the president of the MHL Consortium where he drove the adoption and licensing of MHL technology into more than 950 million smartphones, displays and accessories. Earlier in Tim’s career, he worked at Draper on fault tolerant processors for aircraft use, and held positions for user-interface design at AT&T Bell Laboratories and undersea cable application engineering at AT&T Submarine Systems. Tim received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Boston University, his M.S. in Computer Science from USC, and his Mini-MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at UPenn and the AT&T School of Business.
