Shashi Sastry

Shashi has over 17 years of experience in the computer networking industry, spanning multiple areas. She started out as a software developer and moved into a senior architect role, designing and implementing software for embedded systems, VPN technologies, and Network Management. Over the years, she has worked on security, Cloud technologies, network monitoring, Data Center architectures, Network Function Virtualization, and Software Defined Networking. Her most recent areas of focus are IIoT and Edge Computing.

In addition to engineering roles, she has held various roles in Technical Marketing, Customer Advocacy, and Product Management, all of which have provided her a solid experience to make her a strong advocate for the customer.

Her leadership style is to motivate people to work across teams to solve customer problems, and deliver solutions that benefit the end user.

Shashi has a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from India and an M.S. in Computer Science from Santa Clara University.

Outside of technology, Shashi is a closet artist and enjoys the outdoors.
