Shashi Mariputtana

Shashi Mariputtana is Sr Director for the Network Business Incubator Division at Intel Corporation in Network and Edge Group.  She is responsible for the acceleration of 5G and edge with the deployment of cloud native solutions to enable new services running across the network infrastructure, working closely with network service cloud service providers, enterprises and the vendor eco-system. Since joining Intel in 2015, Shashi has worked closely with vendors on the adoption and deployment of Intel technologies with operators and enterprises to advance strategy, business development and marketing in virtual RAN, Cloud-RAN, private networks and mobile edge computing technologies.

Shashi is a wireless industry veteran working at Ericsson for 25 years prior to joining Intel, in various roles from systems engineering, CTO, business development and sales. Shashi has a master’s in computer science from the University of Dallas, Texas and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from UVCE, Bangalore, India
