As Senior Vice President at Siemens, Sam is responsible for executing the company’s vision for digitalization and the evolution of infrastructure for Industrial environments. One of the original pioneers of edge computing, at the age of 23 Sam founded and grew his edge computing startup Pixeom to become the most widely used edge software platform with over $25M in annual revenue, 100+ employees, 1M+ installations, and 60+ Fortune 500 enterprise customers. He assumed his current position following Pixeom’s acquisition by Siemens in 2019, after 6 years of growing the startup. Previously, he had worked as a software engineer at Microsoft on virtualization and cloud technologies. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2011.
