Robert Hardt

Robert is a proven and dedicated leader passionate about innovation and about making teams and people successful.

Until October 2020 Robert was General Partner at Next47, the venture capital company backed by Siemens AG, headquartered in Palo Alto, CA USA and Munich, Germany. For Next47 he built a successful practice focused on supporting the firm’s portfolio companies in their global growth efforts.

From 2012 to 2017 Robert served as President and CEO of Siemens Canada Limited and oversaw the overall strategic management, direction and leadership for all activities of Siemens in Canada. Prior to being appointed President and CEO in January 2012, he held several senior management positions within Siemens Canada since joining in 2007. Robert is an electrical engineer and began his career with Siemens AG Germany in 1988. Early in his career he was a project engineer and project manager and led several engineering and project management teams for large industrial projects.
