Prajakta Joshi

Prajakta is Group Product Manager in Youtube Music at Google with 20 years of industry experience that spans enterprise, telecom and consumer. Over the last two plus years, she helped establish Google’s Telecom and Edge Cloud/Distributed Cloud initiatives ground up as Group PM in Google Cloud. She has been instrumental in driving a broad range of products at Google including Cloud Load Balancing, Content Delivery, Service Mesh with Traffic Director, gRPC, Cloud Armor for application security and more. Prajakta was recognized as Fierce Telecom’s rising star in 2019. Before Google, Prajakta was Director of Product at ONF (previously ON.Lab) where she helped launch two telecom open source projects, ONOS and Central Office Re-architected as Datacenter (CORD). She also served in senior engineering roles at Brocade, Foundry Networks and Cisco. 

Prajakta received her M.S. in Computer Science from University of Southern California and holds 12+ patents. She is co-founder of Aurora, a community of senior women leaders in Google Cloud aimed at helping them belong, thrive, amplify their influence, and grow their careers as leaders.
