Nigel Newby-House

Nigel Newby-House is VP, Wireless Product Planning for HTC. He leads the definition and
execution of all HTC cellular products for the Americas and manages key carrier relationships
across the region. He has been pioneering the development of HTC’s 5G offer and has been
responsible for the development of the recently launched HTC 5G Hub and their go-to-market
plan with Sprint in the US.
The commoditization of smartphones has led existing players to examine how to thrive in the
wireless space, and 5G presents a host of opportunities, “what keeps me interested is the
cyclical nature of evolving standards and the conflict presented by both defensive and offensive
strategies on existing and new players… It’s game-on in the mobile space again.”
