Matthias Joest, Ph.D. serves as committee leader for omlox – the open locating standard – at the industry assocation PROFIBUS & PROFINET International – PI. He is an innovator and entrepreneur in the area of location-based services and runs the software company Heidelberg Mobil as CEO. He holds a PhD in geoinformatics and artificial intelligence
