Matt Junak

Matt Junak, P.E., is a National Practice Consultant in HNTB’s Intelligent Transportation and Emerging Mobility Systems group. He has focused his career on designing and deploying technology based solutions for both public and private sector clients to solve their unique transportation challenges. From fiber optic, licensed, and unlicensed communications networks, to Connected and Automated Vehicle test facility design and hands-on field integration, Matt has innovated unique solutions for real-time arrival systems, truck parking availability, connected vehicle pilots, Mobility-as-a-Service solutions, autonomous shuttles, and everything related to transportation technology in between. Matt has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and Masters in Transportation from Michigan State University, and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
