Mark Goering
Mark Goering is Principal, Emerging Conservation Technology at The Nature Conservancy, a global environmental nonprofit working to create a world where people and nature can thrive.
Mark is responsible for effectively scoping, designing, implementing, and piloting innovative technology solutions that support sustainable land management and conservation science, in often challenging, resource-constrained environments. His goal is to help TNC maximize the value of our investment in emerging technology, balancing support for research and development with best practices and standards.
Prior roles at the Nature Conservancy include Geographic Information Systems Manager, Senior Conservation Planner, and Associate IT Director. Mark has a master’s degree in Geography from the University of Texas, Austin.
