Dr. Andrey Krendzel

Dr. Andrey Krendzel is a Principal Researcher at Huawei Technologies (Sweden), the Cloud Core Network department. 

Curently he is involved in the 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA), in particular,  in the Work Item on industrial 5G edge computing use cases and requirements (WI055). Also he is a member of the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) and involved in the MEC4AUTO study on edge for automotive in multi-operator scenarios.

He has also been served as a stadardization delegate and contributor to 3GPP SA2 and SA1 WGs on 5G system architecture and its enhancements.

Andrey krendzel received the PhD degree from Tampere University of Technology (TUT) in 2005 and he 

is an author and co-author of three books and more than 40 journal and conference publications.
