David Ceaser is Lead Agronomist at Agritecture Consulting since 2016. He has consulted on more than 100 projects in numerous countries. He is a specialist focused on the viability of agricultural systems. He focuses on technical improvements and innovation that will help agriculture continue to thrive in the face of new and varied challenges. Current projects include a partnership with Asahi, MIcrosoft and TensoAI working with hops farmers in the Czech Republic to help create production strategies that are more resilient to drought and heat events and model creation for Agritecture Designer farm planning software. David earned his BA in Environmental Studies with a focus on Agroecology and Latin American Studies from UC Santa Cruz, earning honors for his analysis of Mayan agricultural systems. Later he earned a certificate in Horticulture from Merritt College and an MBA in Sustainable Management from the Presidio School. David has worked for more than 20 years in farm operations and management in California and lived in numerous countries including Mexico, Croatia, Israel and Switzerland. His unique combination of technical and economic experience provide a realistic assessment of project viability.
