Christian Bates

Christian Bates is the Solutions Architect Leader for AWS World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Hybrid Edge and Government Regions for the Americas. The Hybrid Edge team provides technical validation for design patterns for our AWS Outposts, AWS Local Zones, Wavelength, Networking and AWS Snow Edge Computing. The AWS WWPS Hybrid Edge portfolio enables customers to consume core AWS services wherever they need them, in support of applications and workloads that can’t be moved to AWS regions due to data residency, latency, local data processing, or distributed edge compute requirements. Christian has been with AWS for 5 years, has a background in routing and switching, supporting National Security and Public Sector customers for over 15 years.
