Edge AI means different things to different people, and for many “edge AI” has replaced what was traditionally described as the embedded or IoT market. The growth of edge AI is driving new and different requirements and use cases, that either didn’t exist or where they do, were not broadly adopted. This growth is forcing change and opening opportunity for disruption of traditional embedded solutions with new solutions that adopt and deploy AI in edge systems and appliances.
